To think that we've come a long way.
Today our country celebrates its 40th birthday.
There's a National Day Parade (or NDP as we always call it) held at the Padang. Compared to the past celebrations held at the National Stadium; seats at the Padang are so limited that many had to be content with watching 'live' broadcast on TV.
Me, I even had the opportunity to watch the military vehicles drive pass our new apartment!
